| Job Purpose: |
Track and monitor the requirement against master production schedule and execution plans for the factory in line with accepted orders and inventory levels to ensure that complete deliveries are made as per customer time plan.
Timely execution of Spare Parts Orders and components required for repair of the product. Execution of Spares for Complaints. Date wise monitoring of Assembly Plan. |
| Principle Responsibility: |
-Ensure minimum inventory costs by optimizing inventory levels of sundry and spare stocks. Create planning schedules while reducing the production costs (ex: inventory cost)
-Optimize operational and manufacturing cost through application of effective control mechanism at Shop floors and Stores using Balanced Production approach.
-Wherever required by the customer, preparation of the periodic status update report of the order.
-Preparation of weekly production plan as per AO receipt. Intimation of deviation to concerned for resolution for release of final Monthly production plan.
-Assembly Shop orders generation as per MRP run, Coordination with Assembly Shop and Stores for the execution of current month plan.
-Communication of the shortfalls to DM Planning for Material/Parts arrangement as per customer delivery date.
-Monitoring of weekly execution plans, review with Shop floor, and removal of bottlenecks and intimation to higher management, if required, to ensure delivery deadlines.
-Plan and coordinate for the dispatch of the finished goods based on dispatch instruction from the sales/service. To keep strong liaison with Sales, Finance and Stores for ensuring timely despatches of Pumps
-Prepare monthly reports pertaining to production planning. |
