| Job Purpose: |
To manage and lead Maintenance support section within maintenance dept. Provide technical support to Senior Maintenance Team for resolution of complex problems. |
| Principle Responsibility: |
Maintenance support is to provide the engineering support to maintenance function with main expectations as follows:
- Support with Root Cause Analysis & Big Breakdown Analysis following equipment failure.
- Monitoring / analysis of weekly & monthly trends for equipment failure and propose solutions.
- Trouble shooting support during large breakdowns.
- Monitor and control Preventative Maintenance system including modifications where required following breakdowns etc. (execution of PM will be responsibility of maintenance operations).
- Set KPIs for monitoring performance of Maintenance. Monitor KPIs regularly.
- Introduce Systems used for self reliance within organization and facilitate implementation in maintenance operations area.
- Carry out training of maintenance staff through training centre facility.
- Monitor spares parts requirements.
- Make proposals for replacement of obsolete machines. |
